Supporting Aquaculture … Supporting You
The Aquaculture Suppliers Association is a non-profit trade association representing manufacturers and suppliers servicing the domestic and international aquaculture industry.
The Aquaculture Suppliers Association was formed in 1989 with two goals in mind.
- To unite and provide a voice for manufacturers and other aquaculture suppliers
- To support the National Aquaculture Association
The National Aquaculture Association (NAA) is a U.S. producer-based association dedicated to the establishment of national programs that further the common interest of their membership, both as individual producers and as members of the aquaculture industry. The NAA is committed to the continued growth of the aquaculture industry, to working with the federal government to create a climate conducive to continued industry growth and success, and to fostering cost-effective environmental stewardship and sustainability.
With the NAA, the Aquaculture Suppliers Association works to have a voice on finfish and shellfish production issues important to our members and to the world.
- ensuring sustainability
- protecting profitability, and
- encouraging development of a thriving aquaculture industry
Since its inception, Aquaculture Suppliers Association members have contributed thousands of dollars to the NAA. This money, combined with contributions from other NAA members, has helped provide an industry presence in Washington.
